Today was Leopards Class Assembly we learnt about:
Fairtrade and the importance of a good breakfast.
We also learnt where food comes from:
Museli=South Africa
Orange Juice=Cuba
Honey=Zambia
Tea=India
Jam=Paraguay
Sugar=Malawi
Coffee=Nicaragua
Bananas=Ecuador
Pineapple=Uganda
Chocolate=Ghana
We heard poems about what Fairtrade does for people with rhyming words and also acrostic poems.
Special thanks to Mrs Winstanley and Mrs Dunne and the parents for coming to watch.
The assembly was ended with a song called ‘Turn The Tap'

Leopards assembly was really good. I could here everything that they were saying. I hope they enjoyed it too! I learnt some more about fairtrade !
